Living on the Old Danube
The new construction of the residential development Mühlschüttelgasse in 1210 Vienna was implemented with Liv Immobilienvermarktung GmbH as the client. Architect Walter Stelzhammer designed 113 different large apartment units, ranging from compact one-room and three-room apartments to four-room and attic apartments with terrace.
The majority of the exterior surfaces of the compact city apartments face the green inner courtyard.
This green area, which is arranged between the building components, increases the quality of living in this residential development. In addition, the floor-to-ceiling terrace doors create bright and friendly rooms. From the southern part of the Mühlschüttelgasse there is a direct view of the Mühlschüttelpark and the Old Danube.
The properties were built in reinforced concrete solid construction, whereby the 113 residential units are divided into 2 building components. The two building components were realised as ten- and eight-storey buildings with an underground car park.
The energy class A (heating requirement) was achieved by the execution of a thermal-energetic high-quality building envelope for both structures.
The contractor of the project was Liv Immobilienvermarktung GmbH. Eichenhain GmbH was responsible as the client. The architectural design of the apartments was designed by architect Walter Stelzhammer. Woschitz Engineering ZT GmbH was responsible for the structural design. RWT plus ZT GmbH contributed with its services in the field of building physics. Both companies are members of the Woschitz Group.
