A short clip about the creation of the HoHo Vienna
In the video, Woschitz Group CEO Richard Woschitz shares his professional expertise in structural timber engineering and explains a new dimension that makes it possible to build high-rise buildings using wood as a building material.
The HoHo Vienna is 84 meters high and was built using hybrid construction methods. It consists of up to 75 percent wood, a natural, renewable raw material. For the construction, 1475 ceiling elements, 1415 exterior walls and 800 columns were used. The walls and ceiling elements consist of the composite element wood and concrete, these were delivered to the construction site prefabricated.
