Frist Garbage Pick-up Centre for Nine Communities
On Sunday, October 6th, 2019, the ground-breaking ceremony for a garbage pick-up in Heiligenkreuz im Lafnitztal took place. The new garbage pick-up centre is designed to supply the communities of Heiligenkreuz, Eltendorf, Inzenhof, Jennersdorf, Kleinmürbisch, Mogersdorf, Neustift bei Güssing, Weichselbaum and Tschanigraben.
The site of a hectare size is going to cost about 2.9 million euros, and it is funded by the Environmental Service Burgenland (UDB). Besides the central garbage pick-up centre, container storage areas and warehouses are also built. The centre should increase the accuracy in separation of waste as well as the recyclability of the bulky waste.
