• After only nine months of construction, the Austrian Armed Forces' new diving base at Lake Neufeld was officially opened. Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner and Mayor Michael Lampel handed over the building to the Jagdkommando (Airborne Forces) and the Pioneer Divers. It is Austria's only facility for basic training of military divers.

• The two-story, solid building offers approximately 550 square meters of modern training and recreation areas, as well as a boat garage with direct lake access. A new wooden pier, energy-efficient construction with underfloor heating, an air-to-water heat pump, and ecological rainwater management ensure sustainable operation.
